Sand, Sand, Sand Everywhere

Sand, sand everywhere. The only thing that was missing was the ocean. There was snow runoff from the mountains that was freezing cold. The kids didn't mind. There were even other kids there in their swiming suits. Brrrr. So we went and spent the weekend in Alamosa camping with some friends. Made a visit to the Sand Dunes. Didn't know what to expect. It was cool to see mountains of sand. We should of brought our sleds to slide down the mountain. Instead Ryan tried to do a tummy surf and the others slid down on their butts. What a fun weekend.

We Survived!

So soccer season has ended we survived all the practices and games. We made it through the cold, wind, and rain. I had Natalie, Katie and Ryan in soccer, so going to 3 practices and 3 games a week was event full. There were many times I didn't want to go because I do not like the cold and the wind. But it was fun. Ryan's team won every game. Katie and Natalie I think won about half of their games. They really don't keep score. It was so fun watching 4 year olds running up and down the field chasing the ball. Natalie went from being shy to running after that ball and getting it down the field. Katie learned how to be a goalie this year. Ryan got to play on a regular field this year. Now with school out and soccer done, time to find something else to keep us busy.
